Dr. Ghanashyam M Vaidya was a distinguished Indian surgeon and medical educator, renowned for his significant contributions to healthcare and medical training. He served as Joint CMO and CMO at the Karnatak Health institute Ghataprabha.
Dr. G. M. Vaidya completed his MBBS and MS degree at the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital Mumbai. Later he joined his family in Karnataka to further his medical career.
He was widely recognized his “Cassette Clinics” a series of educational videos aimed at enhancing clinical skill of Medical students and practitioners. In addition to this he authored “General Practice: A Practical Manual,” now its 6th edition. This comprehensive guide provides protocol for ICU.
His legacy continues through his educational contributes and the many healthcare professionals he inspired.
